2. Hosting and technical access data

The website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When a page is requested, the hosting provider processes technical data, including the IP address, date and time, requested resources, status codes, data volume, browser and operating system information and, where transmitted, the previous page (referrer).

This processing delivers the website, maintains reliable operation and helps detect faults or misuse. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is providing this website securely. STRATO processes hosting data as a service provider. The website is not designed to transfer data to services outside the EU/EEA.

According to STRATO, access logs available in its customer area contain anonymised IP addresses or hostnames and can be retrieved for up to six previous weeks. This describes the supplied access logs, rather than all internal security logs held by the provider. Data is processed only as long as required for the relevant technical purpose; specific security incidents or legal obligations may require longer retention.

3. Language choice and browser storage

The website itself sets no cookies. When you select EN or DE, your browser stores only the language value “en” or “de” under the key “rastahash-language” in local storage. The choice is read on later visits to retain your preferred language. Without a saved choice, the website starts in English; a language parameter in the address takes priority.

This stored value contains no visitor identifier and is not sent to the server. It is stored for the language function you expressly select under Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG. Where personal data is involved, Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR applies; the interest is providing your chosen language view. The value remains until overwritten or removed by clearing this website’s data in your browser.

4. Contact

If you contact me by email, phone or letter, I process the contact details you provide and the content of your enquiry to respond. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is responding to your enquiry.

Enquiries are deleted once they have been resolved, unless further correspondence, a statutory retention requirement or necessary legal defence justifies keeping them. Providing data is voluntary; without the necessary contact details, a reply may not be possible.

5. Features and external links

The website includes no analytics or advertising trackers, externally loaded fonts, embedded videos, maps or social media services. There is no contact form, user account or newsletter. Mining and Freqtrade are described as projects; this website does not start a miner or trading bot on your device.

External links open the linked website only when you follow them. That provider’s privacy notice then applies. RastaHash does not carry out automated decision-making, including profiling.

6. Your rights

Subject to the legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability (Articles 15–20 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, use the contact details above.

Right to object: You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Article 21 GDPR). Processing will then stop unless compelling legitimate grounds or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims justify continuing it.

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR), particularly where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred. The supervisory authority for the operator in Hesse is the Hessischer Beauftragter für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit: datenschutz.hessen.de.
